String + Piano Chamber Music Rules
- •More than 2 and up to 6 members in a group
- •String only: String Duo, String Trio, String Quartet, String Quintet or Sextet
- •String + Piano: Piano Trio, Piano Quartet, Piano Quintet or Sextet
- •Memorization is NOT required
- •Repertoire must be chosen from the standard literature and should demonstrate excellent musicianship and proper technique
- •It is okay to finish the performance before the time limit
- •No change in the repertoire is allowed following submission of the application
- •At least ONE Score needs to be given to the judges
- •All members of the group can use an original copy or sheet music from the public domain
- •Taking pictures or video recording is NOT allowed inside the competition room
- •Section is determined by the age of the OLDEST MEMBER as of April 30
- •Judges decision is FINAL
