Woodwinds Requirements
- •Memorization is required
- •Only one piece OR one movement of a multi-movement work is required (ex: one movement of a standard concerto, sonata, or a concert-piece)
- •Repertoire must be chosen from the standard literature, and should demonstrate excellent musicianship and proper technique
- •No changes in repertoire are allowed following application submission
- •No cutting or rearranging the music is permitted, except for the piano part
- •Each entrant must provide his or her own pianist
- •At least ONE Original score needs to be given to the judges
- •Accompanists must have original music
