Ages are calculated as of April 30th of the competition year.

1Section I - Age 8 and under (6 min)

2Section II - Age 10 and under (7 min)

3Section III - Age 13 and under (8 min)

4Section IV - Age 16 and under (9 min)

5Section V - Age 19 and under (10 min)

Rules and guidelines for this division

More than 2 and up to 6 members in a group
String only: String Duo, String Trio, String Quartet, String Quintet or Sextet
String + Piano: Piano Trio, Piano Quartet, Piano Quintet or Sextet
Memorization is NOT required
Repertoire must be chosen from the standard literature and should demonstrate excellent musicianship and proper technique
It is okay to finish the performance before the time limit
No change in the repertoire is allowed following submission of the application
At least ONE Score needs to be given to the judges
All members of the group can use an original copy or sheet music from the public domain
Taking pictures or video recording is NOT allowed inside the competition room
Section is determined by the age of the OLDEST MEMBER as of April 30
Judges decision is FINAL
